BARDOC Limited has a vacancy for one full time Physician Associate (PA). The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of patient care and will be required to work at any of our five Bury/Oldham/Middleton based surgeries, with the base being at the Rock in Bury.

Applicants should hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Physician Associate studies, though we will accept applications for those who are almost nearing completion of the qualification. We are offering full time hours and a permanent contract to the successful candidate. working hours will be negotiable, although some evening and weekend working may be required to meet the service demands.

Main duties:


You will be a trained health professional, providing crucial support to doctors and regularly dealing with patients. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills for patients within the general practices and in local/PCN care homes.


You will work collaboratively with the BARDOC Team and the BARDOC family of practices' teams to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures and providing leadership as required.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the DBS (CRB) to check for any criminal convictions.

Applicants must have a current UK professional registration.
