Applicants are invited to apply for the post of Consultant in Anaesthetics based at Macclesfield District General Hospital in the Planned Care and Clinical Support Directorate.

This position offers a rewarding prospect of a challenging yet enjoyable career in Anaesthetics in a delightful part of the country. The Anaesthetics department at East Cheshire NHS Trust is a friendly and dynamic team and as a small unit we work cohesively in a supportive environment. We are looking to recruit an innovative and forward thinking clinician to join our well established team of 8 other Consultants who strive to provide the best care for their patients.

The vacancy is for 10 Programmed Activities, 8.0 Direct Clinical Care and 2.0 Supporting Professional Activities. The post will involve daytime theatre sessions which will be flexible depending upon the service requirements. The successful applicants will be expected to participate in the ‘out of hours’ consultant on call rota.
