This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator to join the Research & Innovation (R&I) research workforce at University Hospitals of Leicester.

  • The Leicester Diabetes Centre is committed to growing international research, education and innovation, and is one of the largest facilities in Europe for conducting first class clinical research in diabetes.
  • A cardiovascular translational medicine facility (TMF)
  • Clinical Research Facilities (cardiovascular, respiratory, lifestyle) including renal research satellite dialysis sites
  • A state of the art imaging service
  • A strong informatics platform
  • The Leicester Cardiovascular Bio-resource (LCB).
  • The Hope Cancer Trials Centre is a dedicated area for patients participating in clinical research studies, particularly those at the early stages of development.
  • The Research Space (Adult & Children) is a dedicated day care research area providing the highest quality research support facilities and service for the benefit of all patients within the NHS

All research facilities are designed to deliver clinical effectiveness, safety and a positive patient/volunteer experience in a consistent way.

You will be joining an established team and support the administration of clinical research delivery across the 3 sites at UHL.

This post will be based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary but the successful candidate will also be covering other UHL research areas across the 3 sites: Leicester General Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital.
