Advanced Rapid Response Practitioner

Harrow Rapid Response is an expanding admissions avoidance service working with both the primary care and acute sectors to support and deliver treatment to patients at home. We are currently looking for a motivated and committed Band 7 Advanced Practitioner (nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, paramedics) to join our team and to participate in innovative new projects.

Candidates should be experienced Advanced Practitioners with sound clinical knowledge and proven experience in acute and community clinical environments. You will need to be adaptable to operate in a fast moving environment and possess the clinical skills and ability to function as a lone worker in a larger team. Candidates should have leadership experience and managing junior members of the team. Candidates should have excellent communication skills; and the ability to provide care as determined by clinical assessments is essential. You will also be expected to work in A&E to facilitate safe discharges with HRRS follow-up in the community.

You should have undertaken non medical prescribing, physical assessment and additional leadership courses. As this role requires travel within the local community you will need to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
