Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

Cardiff and Vale UHB are holding an open day on the 14th May 2021 at the University Hospital of Wales, Heath park, Cardiff CF14 4XW. This event is open to Registered Nurses and ODPs, student nurses training outside of Wales and an engagement event for student nurses who are eligible for the student streamlining scheme.
