We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Advisor to join our Pre Assessment Team at The London Clinic located at ourHead Officein Central London, NW1 4LJ (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).

The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest independently owned private hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine.

 

Job Profile:

As a Patient/Customer Service Advisor you will be the first point of contact for all prospective Inpatient and Daycase admissions, and play a key role in providing our patients with exceptional customer service, whilst working closely with Consultants, Medical Secretaries and third parties.

 

  • Job Type:This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7am-8pm.
  • Salary:The attractive salary for this role is up to £25,000, and will be dependent upon skills and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will have a helpful and professional approach and will show exceptional patient care at all times.
  • Ensure that patient calls are answered in a timely way, and all calls are taken with care and empathy.
  • Co-ordinating the Pre Assessment clinic for all upcoming inpatient and daycase admissions. Scheduling appointments for patients over the phone and coordinating appointment lists and general administration, whilst working closely with teams across the organisation.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent customer service experience with previous experience of working within a healthcare environment, with a basic understanding of medical terminology.
  • Results driven individual, with high levels of determination and initiative.
  • Handling high level customer calls, working in a high pressured, performance driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to co-ordinate and effectively prioritise a number of conflicting priorities
