An excellent opportunity has arisen at Solent NHS Trust for a Strategic Pay & Reward Manager.

We are seeking a specialist to manage and drive forward our Pay & Reward strategy. This role sits within the People Operations team at Solent. The People Operations team offers a wide range of HR services to support Solent to achieve its goals. This new role is integral to that service and will work both independently and as a critical part of a close-knit team. You will need excellent leadership and communications skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to inform and influence a wide range of stakeholders.

You will be our lead adviser on NHS Terms & Conditions (Agenda for Change), job evaluation and pay and policy for Medical Staffing. You will need to have previous experience of Agenda for Change Terms & Conditions and have worked in an environment where you have advised on the interpretation and application of pay, reward and pension processes, policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who can ensure we are at the forefront of legislation and NHS changes in the areas of pay and reward, shaping our strategic direction in this specialist and vital area ensuring we offer Solent and its employees the best guidance and advice.
