North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (NCL CCG) was formally established in April 2020, bringing together five north London boroughs – Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.

NCL CCG’s’ Enfield Directorate is seeking to recruit to the post of Children and Young Adults Complex Care Nurse Assessor which is offered as a secondment opportunity or fixed term contract until the end of March 2021.

NHS North Central London CCG (Enfield Directorate ) are looking for an exceptional candidate who is able to support to provide specialist clinical and care management advice to Children Commissioners and Adult Complex Care Commissioners around Children and young people with very Complex Health needs.

This will include: Complex Physical Health needs, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and ADHD.

The post holder would be expected to attend relevant Care reviews, funding panels and NCL wide meetings, to represent the view of NCL CCG Enfield Directorate in determination of Health needs.

They would also advise and contribute to the development of NCL wide policies for Children and Young people where required as part of the role.

The post holder would act as a key person in managing the transition of health funded Children and Young people to adult services to ensure that their Health needs are continually met post transfer and any changes to care packages are successfully negotiated and managed within agreed transfer timescales.

This post is managed by and reports to the Director of Commissioning in NCL CCGs Enfield Directorate.
