An exciting prospect has arisen for an existing Band 6, or a Band 5 aspiring for a Band 6 position to join our Althorp ward for a permanent full time (37.5hrs) position.
Althorp is an 18 bedded elective “blue zone” ward caring for patients who have undergone elective surgery. All patients admitted to this ward will follow government’s self isolation guidelines.
We are looking for an aspiring nurse to join our team who can demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in caring for patients who require level one or Head and Neck care post operatively. Experience within the speciality of Max Fax /ENT is essential.
You will be part of a senior team alongside 1 other Band 6 who strives to deliver the best possible care.
As a Band 6 you will be offered the opportunity to grow in knowledge and leadership/management skills to provide high standards of evidenced based patient care while assisting in the running of the ward and managing staff.
