An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Oncology & Palliative Care/ Clinical Haematology Directorates for an experienced PA/Office Manager. Applicants should be extremely organised and passionate about patient care. The ideal candidate would be someone who would enjoy the challenge of working within the setting of a busy and dynamic department.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual for this key role. Flexibility and approachability are essential to the success of this post, as well as having the ability to cope with the changing needs of the service to fulfill this demanding role.

 

This key aspect of this role is to provide comprehensive, high quality administrative support to the General Manager, Clinical Directors, Lead Nurses and other Team Members within the department. You will also be responsible for diary management, minute taking as well as assisting with the management of recruitment for the clinical teams.

We are looking for someone with an advanced knowledge & experience of using Microsoft Office, who has the ability to work under pressure and is able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be able to pay attention to detail and be capable of maintaining sensitivity and confidentially at all times. The candidate must be capable of prioritising their workload to balance the demands of working within this very fast paced environment.

This post is offered on a full-time basis i.e. Monday – Friday from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (37.5 hours a week)
