NHS 111 are always seeking new and innovative ways to work. We are looking to welcome applications for Remote Clinical Advisors to work from home.
At Vocare, we are one of the first providers to offer the home working role and have developed within our home working team across the country, having numerous clinicians supporting our regions across the country with this exciting and highly skilled role
This opportunity will be offered to Clinicians whom meet the criteria of experience working as an NHS Pathways Clinical advisor for either 111 or 999.
You must be able to attend one of our local call centres for the one day Induction training at either our London, Stafford, Newcastle, Taunton or Chippenham centres. We may be able to provide this remotely via zoom, in view of the current pandemic adjustments.
You will also be required to attend one of the sites for the face to face NHSP release training and/or performance reviews once a quarter. In order to be eligible, you must also have a suitable working environment including a quiet location, private room or office and stable internet with at least a download speed of 10mbps.
A Clinical Advisor for NHS 111 will be responsible for ensuring that the NHS 111 patients receive a quality and safe service. You will be dynamic and make quick clinical decisions using NHSP with your own experiences and knowledge
There is also the exciting opportunity to become a coach and auditor and be trained to perform clinical lead or senior clinical advisor duties, also from home

Please note, a high-speed internet connection (10mbps or above) is essential to be able to work for VR-CAT from home. It is your responsibility to provide this connection and pay any associated fees. Any reduction in internet speed whilst on shift will affect the ability to use Vocare’s computer systems and care must be taken to avoid this, e.g. shared internet connections with family etc. If your internet connection is not adequate it will result in reduced call quality and dropped calls whilst speaking to patients. If this occurs, you will be required to use a personal phone to complete calls. These calls can still be recorded by dialling first into Vocare’s systems (local number) but you will be liable for any costs incurred.
