Education & Learning Assistant

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated individual with a can do attitude to provide reception and administrative support to the Education and Learning Teams at QVH.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Education and Learning Teams with a range of administrative duties including reception cover, filing, photocopying, post, etc
  • Using our Online Learning Management System to store and retrieve routine information
  • Maintaining and preparing training venues, resources and refreshments on a day to day basis
  • Replenishing and ordering stock as required
  • Supporting staff with eLearning and IT issues
  • Responding to standard training enquiries in a professional manner, escalating when needed
  • Preparing resources for the Corporate and Doctors Inductions

We are looking for someone with some administrative and reception experience who is able to work flexibly within a busy Education and Learning team. They must be able to remain calm, use their own initiative, possess good communication skills and a flexible and can-do attitude. Basic experience of Microsoft Office is essential.

The position on the salary scales indicated above will be dependent on individual and NHS experience.

Please note: Working pattern will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 7.5 hours per day. Working times to be confirmed but applicant must be able to work flexibly between 08:00 and 17:00
