RDaSH is offering an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist/Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist to join our adult mental health services. This post offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a range of skills both embedded in a multi-disciplinary team and as part of a group of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Therapies staff. The post is open to a Clinical Psychologist looking to progress to the next level and to those more recently qualified who will be offered a developmental post, allowing for a progression plan.

The appointees will form a group of Clinical Psychologists that provide a wide range of psychological services across Doncaster Adult mental health teams and will based across the Community Mental Health Teams. The CMHT’s are proactive integrated mental health teams that prides itself in delivering high quality care.

Clinical Psychology staff are able to contribute to the teaching, supervision and training of trainees on the Sheffield University doctorate course, and RDaSH has an active research programme in the trust.

The appointee will work under the lead psychologist/Director of Psychology in Doncaster and will have regular access to clinical supervision. The service is committed to supporting excellence through continuing professional development and will work to develop competencies in line with need.

Suitable candidates should have a Doctorate qualification in Clinical Psychology and be Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings is essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with all stakeholders of the service is a must.
