Senior Medical Secretary – Unity Sexual Health
Part time: 28 hours / week, based at Central Health Clinic
Band 4 £21,892 - £24,157 pro rata
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Medical Secretary to lead the secretarial team at Unity Sexual Health services.
You will lead a small, dynamic team providing an efficient and effective patient focused secretarial service to the contraception, genitourinary and psychosexual doctors and practitioners. You will also provide support to the wider Unity sexual health partnership.
You should have good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate the team and develop and implement change, including improving processes. The post deals with patients, relatives and healthcare professionals on the telephone, via email, and occasionally face to face, therefore you must have excellent communication skills. You will be expected to have a courteous and efficient telephone manner. The role is busy and sometimes demanding, you must be a good team player and enjoying the challenge of working in a multidisciplinary team.
