Our dedicated team of practice educators are on hand to spend time with you to develop the great skills you already have whilst helping you learn new ones! We’ll support you to have the knowledge, skills and experience to work in the community with confidence.

Our diverse and inclusive #TeamSolent Community Nurses help patients from one of three locality areas based within Southampton City (East, Central and West), working mainly between the hours of 08:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday. That’s right, there’s no night shifts here!

We have a range of flexible working options to suit you and your home life. We value your work-life balance as much as you do! We are actively seeking applicants who would like to work either part-time for 22.5 hours or anywhere in between, all the way up to full-time (please see our average schedule below).

We have released have part-time and full-timepoststo show our commitment to flexible working.

For info: the average working schedule for a nurse that works full-time is below, part-time schedules are reduced proportionately.

Core: 08:30 – 16:30

Mid-shift: 10:00 – 18:00 (average of 4 per/month)

Twilight: 14:00 – 22:00 (average of 4 per/month)

Weekend Days: Core/mid-shift/twilight (working 1 in every 4 weeks)

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
