IT Departmental and Personal Administrator

Based in the Information Technology Department at the James Paget University Hospitals in Gorleston, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Head of IT, Programme team, and department.

This is a varied role within the Department, and as such, requiring someone who wants to learn more skills across a wide range of corporate support processes. The successful applicant must also have excellent communication skills, not be phased by the Department’s affection for jargon, and have a good level of organizational skills.

The post holder will be expected to carry out a range of tasks such as updating budgets, raising purchase orders, managing diaries, sickness, annual leave requests, taking minutes, and responding to phone enquiries.

You will work closely with customers across the Trust, suppliers and technical colleagues. Time-frames and schedules will be tight, and the ability to work under pressure would be expected.
