There is an exciting opportunity to come and work as part of the Neurodisability service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse with neurology experience to join our specialist service which encompassess Sturge Weber, Neurofibromatosis types and other Neurocutaneous conditions.

As the CNS your role will include

  • Providing information about Sturge-Weber syndrome and taking responsibility for this cohort of patients incorporating care co-ordination remit as required.
  • Providing nursing leadership, expertise, advice and support regarding medical management, therapy and/or learning.
  • Act as a resource to children and families and liaison with local services.
  • Involvement in audit and research

As the CNS you must possess excellent communication and strong leadership skills to ensure the families are provided with support and a smooth patient journey.

This CNS post is a 0.4 WTE / 15hrs per week
