We are looking to recruit empathetic and motivated individuals to join our innovative and supportive adult inpatient teams.

Our purpose built inpatient environments in the grounds of St James Hospital include Hawthorns a 20 bedded acute unit and Maples a 10 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit which also includes facilitating 136 assessments. Our residential services work collaboratively to offer a seamless journey for patients to ensure that care and treatment is assessed and provided in the least restrictive environment.

Our teams work hard to ensure high quality patient centred care is at the heart of everything we do and our staff are supported in their roles and encouraged to develop. As a newly qualified clinician you will receive on-going support to consolidate your learning to acquire the skills required to progress your nursing career.

We know that the development of our staff is essential to the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care and ensure that all our newly qualified health professionals are offered a comprehensive 10 month Preceptorship programme. You will be supported by an outstanding team of Practice Educators who will support and assist you in the transition from student to practitioner.

As a trust we also offer a fantastic 4 week bespoke induction programme for all newly qualified nurses in a protected learning environment, followed by a 2 week in house transition to the ward team.

We have lots of exciting opportunities to offer candidates that want a friendly and supportive environment to grow and develop their career as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.

Please note: relocation expenses will be offered subject to terms and conditions forsuccessful candidates who are relocating for the post from a minimum distance of 50 miles.
