We are about to embark on the most ambitious programme of acute healthcare transformation culminating in new state of the art facilities for residents of Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and the wider region within a budget of will £450m. The Organisational Development Specialist will form an essential component of the Reconfiguration Programme Team who will deliver UHL’s reconfiguration strategy which in the long term secures the clinical and financial sustainability of the Trust.

Working closely with team members, clinical, administrative and estates colleagues the Organisational Development Specialist will lead specific people/transition projects – through establishing individual, team and leadership development needs and then designing and implementing solutions that enable an engaged transition as the hospital infrastructure develops.

Applicants will have sound transferable Organisational Development skills, understanding and experience in a complex health care setting with an impressive track record of helping teams to work through improvements and changes in service delivery. The ability to challenge, communicate and support others through change is key.
