We are a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England and are looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities that we serve.

We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us to do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership.

Sussex Partnership is an equal opportunities employer, with a sincere commitment to our people’s health and emotional wellbeing and as such, we have signed the Time to Change pledge and provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.

In addition, our workforce is currently under-represented by people from Black and Minority Ethnic and Disabled communities. We welcome applications from people of these communities as we want our workforce to reflect the communities we serve.

The Trust is committed to providing opportunities for flexible working.

Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated our services good, following their most recent inspection, and outstanding in the caring domain.

If you are an enthusiastic passionate doctor who is looking for a job with a right balance of challenge and flexibility, look no further. We have established processes and a greatly supportive Leadership team enabling you to develop further.

We have set up a range of remote working possibilities giving the clinical team utmost flexibility to work safely and effectively during this time. The Leadership team is very supportive and encourage all clinicians to have a flexible job plan so that a good work-life balance can be achieved.

Hampshire is a beautiful county with coastal areas and stunning countryside. The lovely Test and Meon Valleys dissect the South Downs that rise from the Cathedral city of Winchester and head eastwards. England’s largest intact area of ancient woodland, the New Forest is tucked in the western corner of the county and is a wild and special place. As well as picture book villages, there are some super small towns and the large coastal cities of Southampton and Portsmouth provide the annual ‘Boat Show’ and ferry crossings to the continent or nearby Isle of Wight. Education in Hampshire is good with state schools outside the two big coastal cities doing better than the national average and significantly so in the most favoured catchments. There is a range of independent schools from small preps in the forest villages to the historic Winchester College.

The post attracts a Golden Hello payment of up to £5,000 as well as a Relocation Package of up to £8000. Information on these can be obtained from our Medical Staffing Team on 0300 304 0393.

Please note the Job Description is still with the Royal College for approval. If there are any small changes we will ensure all applicants receive the final version before interview.
