An opportunity has arisen within the Trust for a Customer Service Advisor based at Trust HQ, Exeter.

The Trust provides IT support to its entire staff (over 4,000) and is looking for enthusiastic and courteous staff that would be able to offer excellent Customer Service to our non-technical users.

The successful candidate will carry out first line customer requests on the Trust’s Service Desk, providing support for desktop technology incidents and assist with the maintenance and deployment of computerised hardware and software systems. They will be required to work with the Exeter team to cover standard office hours, and will be expected to be able to deal with telephone calls, emails and personal visits from within the Trust.

The role will need to provide to provide efficient, effective and professional Customer Service to Trust IT Users by offering 1st line support.

To log IM&T Requests and Incidents correctly to allow efficient reporting to be carried out. Act as point of user liaison for IT Support and advice.

To provide efficient and effective basic support of ICT systems and services throughout the Trust, to support first class service to our users. To work alongside our Desktop Support staff for more in depth requests.

Applicants must have GCSE’s (Grade C or above) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics. You will need excellent communication and customer service skills as well as an excellent understanding and previous experience of supporting current Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems and desktop hardware.
