Liverpool Women’s Hospital clinical services are currently being reviewed by NHS Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group, following work done by our clinicians in presenting a powerful case for change in the Future Generations Strategy.

The Trust is looking to recruit one full time research practitioner. The aim of this post is to allow opportunity for a high calibre individual to develop their skills in the field of research and to become a strong autonomous research practitioner.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Trust with its commitment to a sustained and dramatic increase in recruitment of patients into research studies. For this role the post holder will specifically be concerned with recruitment to genetic research studies. The individual will also be responsible for assisting with feasibility and set up of new research studies within the speciality area.

The Trust has a diverse and growing portfolio of research studies that its research practitioners are recruiting to, some of which overlap with other specialities within the organisation.

The post will be fixed term for one year in the first instance (subject to renewal of funding year on year and depending on recruitment performance).

Internal secondments may be considered but applicants MUST SEEK APPROVAL from their substantive clinical line manager FIRST.
