We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Assistant to our friendly team who can demonstrate a genuine interest in working in Primary Care.

The role will include normal general practice duties such as phlebotomy, taking and recording BP/BMI/ECG/24 hour BP and ECG, testing urine and health checks. Previous work in a hospital or GP setting is essential and knowledge of SystmOne clinical system would be advantageous, but training would be given to the successful candidate.Ability to administer flu or B12 injections is desirable but not essential.

The post holder will be a key team member contributing towards patient care and the development of the Practice.

We are looking to fill up to 32 hours a week over a total of 4 days, with normal hours of work 0900 to 1300 then 1400 to 1800. There is a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.

Ottery St Mary is a market town on the Eastern fringes of Exeter and is easily accessible from the A30. Our premises are fully accessible and purpose built with good staff facilities and off site car parking close by.
