Are you a motivated person who is able to demonstrate a high standard of care, then Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust would really like to hear from you?


We have vacancies for 2 Theatre Support Carers to come and join our theatre team. The post holders will actively support our multi-disciplinary theatre team in providing the best quality Peri-operative care to the people of Warrington and Halton.


We are a friendly team, who welcome new staff and provide a comprehensive induction programme to support this role.


We have seventeen theatres over two sites (three hospitals) and perform a wide range of surgery including Spinal, Orthopaedic, Trauma, Dental, Upper and Lower G.I, Gynaecology, ENT, Ophthalmics, Urology, Breast, Obstetrics and Day Case PLUS 24hr NCEPOD Emergency Surgery Provision .


The post will be predominately based at our Warrington Site but there may be the occasional requirement to cover across sites at one of the hospitals on our Halton Campus. The post holder will be expected to work across a seven day shift pattern which will include weekend working and rotation onto night shifts as part of our Emergency out of Hours Theatre Team.


Warrington and Halton NHS Foundation Trust Hospitals are centrally located within the heart of North Cheshire, with Manchester and Liverpool International Airports both within a 30 minute drive. There is also excellent motorway links (M6, M56 and M62) providing access to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool for an excellent range of shopping, entertainment, places of historic interest and sporting facilities. The motorway links provide the opportunity to visit the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, the Peak and Lake Districts and the stunning Coastal regions of North Wales and Lancashire.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
