Reporting to the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for ensuring a sustained PPE supply to the CityCare workforce.  You will check the PPE stock levels on a daily basis from the information provided by the operations teams and use this information to make informed decisions regarding the procurement of PPE.  You will also check the national stock push out on a daily basis and support the wider system with any mutual aid requests which may arise. This is a new role on a Fixed Term 12 month basis where you will be given the opportunity to develop the processes and Standard Operating Procedures around PPE.

The post holder will manage additional activity particularly in relation to COVID-19 but may be asked to support wider Procurement projects where necessary ensuring a responsive and customer focussed approach to the provision of services.

The post holder will support the delivery of key work streams across CityCare including delivery of procurement savings in line with CityCare objectives and long term strategies.

The post holder will monitor contracts within their remit.  They will have contract management experience and the ability to monitor performance against contract KPI’s and contractual obligations and put in place remedies to address poor or over performance as necessary.

The post holder will identify options for increased productivity/service transformation/cost reduction.

The post holder will use expertise to develop internal systems and processes.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, a good communicator with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.  The applicant will be a team player and have the ability to engage with a range of both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You will be based in Nottingham City Centre but will be expected to travel to other locations across the City Centre, to support the business.
