Senior Recovery Coach

Job Reference: 325-A-20-100423

Employer:
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
Location:
Frimley Health
Salary:
£22,986 - £25,364 Incl Fringe HCAS

There are exciting developments across SABP (within Frimley Health) following our success in securing the funds to develop a multi-dimensional pathway for people with traits, or a diagnosis of personality disorder, and their carers.

As part of this development, a new post has been created for a Band 4 Senior Recovery Coach to work as part of a co-produced team developing a new and innovative approach to providing a community mental health service in primary care. This opportunity is available to people with knowledge regarding mental health, obtained through lived experience or caring for somebody with PD traits, with a specific focus on PD and the recovery approach.

The Senior Recovery Coach will support the delivery of recovery-focused educational courses which aim to help train and empower people to develop the skills to manage their own recovery or the recovery of those they care for or work with. The role includes the provision of supervision to the Band 3 Recovery Coach so experience of delivering supervision would be helpful. The Senior Recovery Coach will work closely with the Band 5 and Senior Clinician to assist with service improvement, evaluation and quality assurance.

If you are an empathic advocate for people with traits, or a diagnosis of Personality Disorder, their families and carers and looking for an exceptional opportunity to contribute to developing integrated mental health provision, and supporting people with mental health problems to achieve their goals, then we look forward to hearing from you.

Working base and working pattern/hours are to be confirmed.

Please note that all salaries shown are based on whole time of 37.5 hours per week for non-medical roles and 40 hours per week for medical roles, part time roles are pro-rated accordingly.
