Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Business Assistant in Universal Administration Healthy Together Service:

Families, Young People and Children’s Services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced, friendly and committed Administration Team as a Band 3 Personal Business Assistant supporting the Family Service Managers for the City locality within FYPC services.

The successful applicant will be based at Bridge Park Plaza (Thurmaston), working 37.5hrs per week over 5 days (Monday - Friday). You will be required to work alongside Managers and Clinicians providing a full administrative support within delegated areas of work as part of a wider administrative service.

The role is diverse, with each day bringing new challenges. You will have a proven ability in using your own initiative and working with confidential and highly sensitive information, showing attention to detail and the ability to work accurately, whilst understanding the importance of adhering to Trust Policies and local procedures. A confident, professional personality with a can do attitude will be an asset.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative business support capacity and be able to work cohesively with others to assist the management team in maximising the efficient use of their time and the resources of the service. Some travel will be required to support with meetings and minute taking in areas of Leicester City.

Due to the fast pace and nature of the work, the post holder would be required to have the essential knowledge and experience or be willing to learn and develop from commencement and be able to demonstrate within the following areas:

You must be able to demonstrate your ability in relation to the following skills which are essential to the role:

  • Previous experiences of working in an administrative/business support function in an office environment.

  • GCSE in English Language and Maths Grade C/4 or above.

  • Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office Packages.

  • NVQ/RQF Level 3 in administration or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience in delivering an efficient administrative service.

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Adopt a flexible, self-motivated approach to work.

  • An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively at all levels.

  • Previous experience of organisation, facilitation and recording of meetings.

  • An ability to prioritise work on a daily basis and be confident working independently.
