  • Medical, nursing and therapeutic care provided to over 9,000 children and adults a day

This is a rare opportunity to join our Chichester Twilight Nursing team, part of our award-winning Overnight Service.

This team covers the southwest corner of our patch, providing urgent care to people in their own homes. As this post involves travelling throughout the area, having a driving licence and access to a car is essential. Once in post, you will have access to our subsidised lease car scheme.

The vacancy is for three or four evenings per week, with each shift being five hours long. Working the Twilight shift, 6pm until 11pm, has the benefit that all hours are paid at an enhanced rate. We also work a repeating four week roster, which makes this an ideal post for those seeking a family-friendly job.

Eventually you may be required to lone work, but initially you will be working alongside one of our highly experienced Registered Nurses dealing with wound care, catheter problems, and providing End of Life care. We can teach you the skills you need, but it is the attitude and character that you bring to the role which will make a difference. Community care can be challenging, and we are looking for applicants with a calm and professional demeanour.

If you are looking for a challenge, and think you might have what it takes, perhaps this is the post for you.
