CDD Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Services and was set up to deliver a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services across the Trust. The company is a separate legal body set up to provide a range of non-clinical services, including Procurement, and if you were successful you will be an employee of CDD Services alongside the entire Procurement Team who were transferred to CDD Services earlier this year.

CDD Services’ Inventory Management Team is responsible for the ordering, stock control, receipt and distribution of more than £25m of medical supplies into 3 major CDDFT hospitals and 58 further healthcare locations.

As part of the CDD Services team, the post holder is responsible for all aspects of theatres’ consigned, and trust owned, implants stock management, specifically associated with the ordering of implants, plates, screws and associated products. This includes the receipt, efficient storage and stock control within the department. To promote and maintain a cost effective, responsive service in line with the trust policies and procedures.

As such, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to learn in a challenging and exciting environment. NHS experience is not essential.
