Arden & GEM’s Business Intelligence Service is looking for a principal analyst to join our Data Processing and Reporting Unit, to lead on pharmacy and high cost data flows, reporting and analysis. This fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with experience of working with NHS prescribing datasets and a high level of expertise in information analysis, manipulation and presentation utilising tools such as SQL, Excel and Tableau. As a customer facing role excellent communication skills and experience of customer relationship management are essential.

The role sits within a national business intelligence service, providing support to NHS England across the direct commissioned service portfolio. This post will oversee the end to end management of high cost drug and cancer drug fund data flows throughout all routine reporting, contribute to the development of new web based tools to support our automation agenda, whilst also providing analysis to help our customers to meet their strategic and operational objectives. Based at St Johns House, Leicester the successful candidate will form a key part of a dynamic team, delivering a high quality, responsive and efficient service, supporting customer objectives through delivery of analysis and insight.

The successful candidate should expect to work in a fast paced environment operating to key deadlines and delivering quality results through a well-managed team.
