University Hospitals of Leicester are looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to oversee the successful implementation and delivery of our Electronic Patient Record.

University Hospitals of Leicester have a vision to implement a paperless hospital using a clinically rich application that is currently in use within the Emergency Department and supports the clinical observations and assessments on the wards. The next phase will see a transformation in using a single digital application to deliver outpatient services and replace our legacy systems across the rest of the hospitals.


The post holder will lead a programme of multiple, complex and interconnected projects across University Hospitals of Leicester's 3 sites. Planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring the performance and progress of this programme.

The post holder will be working closely with Corporate Medical, Chief Clinical Information Officers, Senior IM&T, Business Partners and Strategy colleagues to ensure timely delivery of the projects which it is anticipated will make a very significant contribution towards the Trust’s eHospital programme and overall Cost Improvement Programme. Ensure the eHospital Programme is aligned to the health and social community (LLR StP) programme for sharing and consuming health and social care data.
