Deputy Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Speciality Medicine team in the Band 6 Deputy Sister role on Ward 29.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic, motivated and experienced individual to join Ward 29s team within Speciality Medicine providing direction and inspirational leadership to the nursing team.

The post holder will be an experienced clinical practitioner, be required to work internal rotation, and be an enthusiastic integral member of our well established and committed team, providing and supervising the delivery of excellent quality care. The post holder will be responsive to the needs of service users, patients, carers and the public.
Wider responsibilities include the provision of a supportive learning environment for continuing education; reporting to the Ward Sister and supporting the wider organisation; shift leadership; managing resources and information and being an active member of the multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record and have relevant years’ experience working at Band 5 level and possess a mentor course. A period of supervision and structured training and support will be available and we can offer a wide range of development opportunities.
