Employer:
Spectrum Community Health
Department:
HMP Full Sutton
Location:
York
Salary:
Band 8a

Spectrum Community Health CIC is a community owned, award winning health provider. Our recent success at achieving four new contracts demonstrates our policy of innovation and continuous improvement, and is testimony to our committed and talented teams. As a Social Enterprise our profits are reinvested into our staff and services, and we benefit from being independent, large enough to provide a level of security, yet small enough to be able to make things happen.

Our multi-disciplinary teams provide specialist healthcare services in the North East and North West of England, and around Yorkshire. We have established markets in Health and Justice, Sexual Health and Substance Misuse. For further details of our services, please follow the link to our website.

As an ANP you will be a high level autonomous clinical practitioner who is able to triage, assess, diagnose and manage a range of minor injuries and illnesses, proactively manage long term conditions and be a competent non-medical prescriber. Experience of working with patients with substance misuse and desirably mental health issues would be an advantage but full support and training will be provided.

Be part of an innovative and exciting new model of primary healthcare provision, engaging with a vulnerable population with interesting and diverse needs.

Previous experience of working in secure environments or substance misuse is desirable however, full training and supervision will be offered to the right candidate.

Variable family friendly hours and work base can be negotiated.

Spectrum’s Terms and Conditions are comparable with those offered by the NHS (Agenda for Change or Medical and Dental), therefore, you will receive an excellent benefits package, including membership of the NHS pension scheme, life insurance, discounts, free parking (at the majority of sites, subject to availability). A full list of employee rewards and benefits is contained in the separate document attached.

The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults) appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area they work in.
