Part Time (30 hours per week) – Band 3 subject to AfC Confirmation

The opportunity has arisen within the Finance & Procurement Directorate for a Cashier to work within Financial Services.

Your duties will be to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective service for the Catering Cashier Office primarily at Glenfield Hospital. This will be in accordance with statutory requirements, accounting guidance and agreed local procedures.

You will have 18 months experience within a customer service role with daily cash handling responsibilities within a busy environment.

You will have experience of working on your own initiative but also be able to work effectively within a team. You will be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with customers and colleagues.

You will be at ease using computers and computer software such MS Office. You will also have good written and oral skills to communicate with staff.

You will be an accurate record keeper with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. You will have a methodical approach to problem solving.
