Consultant Radiologist with Special Interest in Breast Imaging

We are delighted to invite applications for a Consultant Breast Radiologist to join an existing team of seven Consultant Breast Radiologists at University Hospitals of Leicester.
This is a substantive post covering both the screening and symptomatic pathways. The service strives to provide the highest standards of healthcare for our patients from our purpose-built Breast Care Centre at Glenfield Hospital.

We are a centre that is actively involved in clinical trials and have successfully secured Tomosynthesis and Contrast Enhanced Mammography equipment. There is also the opportunity to practice a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures including breast MRI (screening and symptomatic) and use of vacuum assisted biopsy. The Trust encourages audit and clinical research. There will be opportunities to join existing audit and research programmes, as well as initiate one's own.

Successful candidates will be expected to participate in the on-call rota covering acute radiology as well as undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical governance/audit.
