This is an administration position that provides support for the South Western Ambulance Service’s Frequent Caller Team. The team aim to help deliver high quality, effective clinical care to patients that meet a national definition of being a frequent caller to the ambulance service.

This role supports the achievement of national performance standards, optimal clinical outcomes and supports nationally recognised best practice surrounding the management of patients that meet the national frequent caller criteria.

The post holder will be able to provide support to ambulance staff and other healthcare professionals on the Trust’s frequent caller management processes, wherever possible within the context of evidence based and agreed pathways.

The post holder will support and assist with the development and maintenance of systems and processes used to identify, track and monitor patients that meet the frequent caller definition and support stakeholder engagement and communication.

The role includes the collation, preparation and distribution of high quality timely reporting and documentation, including the organisation and production of meetings’ minutes, as well as filing of this information and organisation of patient review requirements.

The successful candidate will also provide secretarial and administrative support to the Frequent Caller Lead including through the production of communication materials, including web-based and electronic communication media.

As part of the role, the post holder may be required to contribute to other clinical hub directorates within the wider Trust, to support business continuity, as necessary.

Please note that we are willing to discuss a base of Bristol Clinical Hub as opposed to Exeter Trust HQ should this be required by the candidate.
