Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

We deliver services to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our 5500 staff serve a population of one million from over 100 sites across the region.

A vacancy has arisen for a full time (37.5 hours / week) band 7 Clinical Psychologist within Leicestershire Partnership Trust's CAMHS division. The post will consist of 30 hours based on the CAMHS inpatient unit, currently based at Ward 3, Coalville Community Hospital. 7.5 hours will be based in the outpatient CAMHS department.

Inpatient post: You will be working closely with the senior clinical psychologist and alongside the multi-disciplinary team which in addition to psychology currently consists of; Medical, nursing, Occupational Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy and admin.

The CAMHS Unit currently provides care for 10 patients admitted with a range of mental health problems for acute short term assessment, treatment and care.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we plan our new service which will provide care for up to 15 patients and will include specialist Eating Disorder beds.

This is will be provided in a new purpose built unit on our Leicester site, due for completion August 2020.

Outpatient post: The remaining one day will be based in the outpatient CAMHS service, offering assessment and treatment to young people and their families across Leicestershire.
