Apprentice Clerical Assistant

30 hours per week

Fixed-term for 12 months

Paid at National Minimum Wage (relevant to age)

You will assist in providing a comprehensive administrative support service to the Adult Learning Disability Service. Key elements of the post are to be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries from service users and professionals, taking messages, logging call information and forwarding to the appropriate source. Work will generally be carried out under supervision and will be within well established procedures.

For this role it is essential that you have:

  • the motivation and commitment to work towards Level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration
  • are competent in the use of Microsoft Office
  • effective communication and organisational skills
  • effective customer care skills
