An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Senior Data Quality Officer to join the Performance Team within Solent NHS Trust. This role is key in embedding a culture of data quality improvement across the organisation at a time when there is significant interest in the quality of the data produced. The role will support the Trust to improve the quality of the data we hold in our clinical records systems working with operational staff in both an advisory and practical way.

The role requires exceptional organisational skills and an ability to think logically in order to delivering a comprehensive Data Quality Improvement Programme, tackling both high priority data quality concerns as well as an annual work plan of regular data quality reviews. The successful candidate will line manage two Data Quality Officers, planning and managing their workloads.

This is a really exciting time to join our Performance Team as we move into a new way of working alongside our Business Intelligence colleagues, utilising visualisation tools as a way of communication information to non-information colleagues within the organisation. Data Quality underpins everything we do, and the focus on this is ever increasing, highlighting the need for a specific role to oversee this work and drive improvement through linking with clinical services and building strong working relationships with the Information Systems and Business Intelligence Teams.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
