Healthcare Assistant – General Acute (CSW00) (flexible and long term opportunities available)

Pay Rates: BAND 2

Locations – Oxford

Hours & Working Pattern - Flexible, mixture of Early/Late/Long Day/Night shifts

Calling All Healthcare Assistants!

Do you have 3 months paid experience in a health care home, residential care setting, or in a hospital?

We are looking to expand the Bank at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, and are interested to hear from any committed and professional Healthcare Assistants that may be able to spare extra time, from one shift per month to full time hours, we have shifts available to accommodate. We pay weekly!

NHS Professionals is the leading provider of managed flexible workforce services to the NHS with approximately 40,000 nurses, doctors, administration and clerical and other healthcare professionals signed to its bank. We help our 62 NHS Trust clients implement tactical measures to improve workforce efficiency and productivity as part of an overall workforce strategy.

In order to apply for a post, you must have a minimum of 3 months paid experience in a care environment (residential care home or clinical ward setting) within the last 2 years.

What you will need: (Please note you are only eligible for the role if you have proof of ONE of the following)

  • You are currently studying as a Student Nurse
  • You have completed a minimum Level 2 NVQ or Apprenticeship Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2+ BTEC national diplomas in Health and Social Care
  • You have a Care Certificate from another NHS Organisation
