Pay Rates

Day Rate: £20.00 per hour paid weekly

Night/Saturday Rate: £25.00 per hour paid weekly

Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £30.00 per hour paid weekly

Hours & Working Pattern

Flexible, mixture of Early/Late/Long Day/Night shifts

We are looking to expand the Bank at Royal Berkshire, and are interested to hear from any Paediatric trained registered nurses that may be able to spare extra time, from one shift per month to full time hours, we have shifts available to accommodate. We pay weekly!

The post holder should be able:

  • To assess, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of individualised care.
  • To be responsible for the organising the care of assigned patients within a ward or department
  • To take appropriate action to ensure the safety of patients, including the delegation of patient care to staff with the appropriate level of skill at all times and to report any accidents/ incidents to the Ward Manager/Nurse in Charge as appropriate.
  • To maintain accurate records at all times, ensuring appropriate reporting mechanisms are used.
  • To be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all patient care records on the electronic patient management system.
  • To be responsible for attending training sessions for the safe use of medical devices and equipment and ensure that all equipment is used safely and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

In order to apply for a post, you must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years and hold NMC Registered Nurse (RN1) qualification
