Spectrum Community Health CIC delivers a forward thinking and aspirational service at HMP Kirkham to support offenders experiencing drug/alcohol problems.

To support this we are seeking a talented, experienced, passionate, determined and resourceful individual to work as Recovery Coordinator in this challenging service.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or an understanfing of:

  • Effectively engaging clients using creative approaches
  • Delivering pychosocial interventions through 1-2-1's and groups
  • Providing effective case management through assessment, planning, monitoring and review
  • Working within the unique challenges of a secure and diverse environment
  • Working professionally, flexibly and creatively, promoting a culture of positive change
  • Understanding issues of social exclusion, diversity, offending and substance use
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, prison and community services
  • Adhering to policies realting to safeguarding and governance.

You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team who provides a vast range of services, delivering primary care, mental health and substance misuse services to the population, which may include working flexibly to cover evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

On top of your basic salary, you will receive at least 27 days' pro rata holiday each year rising to 33 days after 10 years’ service (excluding bank holidays). You will also automatically become a member of the NHS pension scheme and will receive an excellent package of pension benefits which are one of the most generous and comprehensive in the UK.

The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults) appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area they work in.
