An exciting new opportunity has arisen on The Hampton Suite a 23 bedded re-ablement unit at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

We are seeking an experienced clinical nurse who is operating at an advanced level to join the team as an Advanced Nursing Practitioner in the new unit. The successful candidate must have significant experience, be a non-medical prescriber, and possess vision and influencing skills. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing new approaches in how patients are managed. You will demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills. You will be an excellent team player who is also able to work independently for a significant proportion of you working day.

You will be expected to carry out assessments once competency has been achieved, to facilitate safe and effective discharge planning. You must have some experience of working within a similar environment and of working with those with complex needs in acute or community settings. You will be expected to participate in the supervision and training of support staff.

Ongoing training and development provided.

Hours 9am -5pm Monday to Friday.

Part time hours considered.

We would consider candidates who are still training as band 7 progressing to band 8 on completion of training.
