An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and enthusiastic Senior Finance Business Partners to support the Trust in delivering its financial agenda.

As one of the largest Trusts, University Hospitals of Leicester has annual turnover of £940m and consists of seven Clinical Management Groups (CMGs) and ten Corporate Directorates delivering the full range of acute patient care across three sites. The Senior Finance Business Partner (SBFP) will support and advise the CMG Head of Finance (HoF) in providing financial and business partnering to the CMG.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will be aligned to and be an integral member of the CMG team delivering operational and holistic financial business partnering service for the identified specialities within the CMG.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will support the Head of Finance to ensure a robust and cohesive approach to financial performance management, annual business planning and decision making of the CMG to ensure effective use of financial resources in pursuit of agreed CMG and Corporate goals.

Working alongside both the CMG and Finance, this is a critical role and will cover the full suite of financial performance from reporting incorporating meaningful variance analysis and so-what/scenario planning together with identification of risks and opportunities to feed into and ensure robust recovery plans, decision support for business cases/investments and supporting the planning cycle to ensure challenging and realistic financial plans.
