We are looking for a clinical Neonatal Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse to support and develop our growing workforce.

Are you a skilled neonatal nurse with excellent communication skills and proven track record of excellent teaching abilities? Then this opportunity could be for you! You must be NMC registered, in possession of a neonatal and mentorship qualification and ideally have a recognised teaching qualification or previous experience within an education team .

The Leicester Neonatal service consists of a leading intensive care unit (LRI) within the South Hub of the East Midlands Operational Delivery Network and a geographically separate special care unit (LGH). The LRI neonatal unit is a tertiary referral centre for neonatal surgery. We have a large establishment cross-site of 150 nurses and support staff, ranging from Neonatal Assistants to Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. The service has a capacity of 42 cots, 10 of which are intensive care, 8 high dependency, and 24 special care.

The service also boasts an innovative neonatal homecare service that not only supports Leicestershire families, but those discharged from other Network units such as Northampton and Kettering.
