We wish to recruit a high calibre Consultant in Stroke Medicine with Neuro Rehab to join the Stroke Services team within the Specialist Medicine Clinical Management Group. You will contribute to the provision of high quality stroke care and stroke rehabilitation at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and partners.

You will be involved in the delivery of acute stroke and rehabilitative stroke care. This will include commitments on the Acute Stroke and Stroke Rehabilitation Units, rapid-access TIA clinic and participation in the on-call rota for stroke.

You will have enthusiasm and proven experience in stroke, and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have strong leadership and communication skills coupled with a burning desire to improve and succeed. In return, you will benefit from working in a high performing Stroke team and service in which you will be supported to further develop those skills.
