Apprentice Business Administrator – Stock control

 

North Bristol NHS Trust

 

The Wheelchair and Special Seating Service require an enthusiastic Apprentice Business Administrator to join our busy Equipment Service Delivery team. You will be part of one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, based at the Bristol Centre for Enablement and arranging deliveries, controlling stock in the South Gloucester, Bath and Bristol area’s as part of our specialist team equipment provision.

 

YOU:

 

    • Will have the ability to work efficiently and methodically under pressure, ensuring the correct delivery of goods.

 

    • Be comfortable handling a busy and demanding work load and have a flexible work ethos.

 

    • Have a sound geographical knowledge of Bristol, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

 

    • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

    • Will be comfortable dealing with patients, their families and carers on the phone.

 

    • IT literate

 

THE POST

 

    • Is for 37.5 hours per week.

 

    • You will be paid a Band 2 Training Wage (£14,026) this will increase to the Band 2 scale on successful completion of your apprenticeship (£17,460).

 

    • Ample free parking at operations site.

    • You will be undertaking a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Framework. This will require you to attend training sessions at Southmead Hospital fortnightly.

 

    • If you don’t currently hold an English or Mathematics qualification, you will be asked to complete this alongside your apprenticeship. Exemptions include: GCSE C grade (grade 4), Level 2 Functional Skills or Level 2 Key Skills.
