Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

Do you have the necessary skills to work in a Leadership role within Community Nursing Services?

Would you enjoy the challenge of providing senior support and clinical oversight within the Braunstone Community Nursing Hub?

The Braunstone Hub has five teams of nurses each led by a District Nurse and an opportunity has arisen for a position as a Senior District Nurse who would lead and manage the five Community Nursing Teams within the hub, taking overall responsibility for the assessment, management and evaluation of evidence based nursing care to patients in a variety of settings.

A District Nurse Qualification is essential for this post, which will involve you supporting the Community Service Matron and Clinical Leads in delivering high quality care that delivers best value, and meets the requirements of commissioners.

You will have responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance, clinical advice and management in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality:

  • Patient safety
  • The effectiveness of all health care interventions
  • Patient experience and the personal qualities we are seeking.

You should have a flexible approach to ways of working and be IT literate.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.
