Hub Operations is a unique department which is key to the successful organ donation process. We operate to match and allocate donor organs for the UK and Republic of Ireland.  Dealing with consultants, Recipient Coordinators and Specialist Nurses across the Country.

 

As a Hub Operations Shift Manager, you will be working with a team of Organ Allocation Specialist to provide a 24/7 effective, efficient, accurate and reliable service to our stakeholders.  

 

You will be responsible for managing, monitoring and developing the team, and managing the shift to ensure correct process is followed. This is also a logistical role to ensure retrieval teams are available for donations to proceed.

 

You will also undertake other managerial and supervisory tasks as required to support and maintain the service provision to the agreed standards.

 

You will be required to participate in a shift andan on-call out of hours rota which may include evening, weekend or public holiday working, providing 24/7 support for the Hub Operations.

Please note this is a fixed term/secondment position for 12 months.
