Full-Time Band 6 Research Nurse post in Rheumatology Research

Full-Time Band 6 Research Nurse post in Urology Research

We are currently seeking 2 highly motivated Research Nurses to join our dynamic Urology and Rheumatology Research Departments. The roles are diverse in nature and you will be joining supportive and friendly research teams that are embedded within clinical practice, with a strong ethos for delivering high quality patient centered care. You will need to have research experience and significant clinical experience, excellent organization and communication skills as well as effective time management in order to work autonomously and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. In line with the Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals Research Strategy we are keen to support professional development within these roles, and you will have the ongoing support of the Team Lead.

Rheumatology Research Team is based at the Freeman Hospital with some cross site working at the RVI, and currently have over 30 studies including both observational and clinical trials in number of rheumatological conditions. Patients are predominantly managed within the Musculoskeletal Outpatient and Day Unit Departments at the Freeman Hospital using an integrated approach towards clinical and research care delivery with upcoming opportunities to expand clinical roles, including specialist musculoskeletal clinical skills.

Urology Research Team is based within the Freeman Hospital, and has a broad portfolio of commercial and NIHR adopted research studies. This portfolio covers all aspects of urology disease areas and phases of research within both secondary and primary care. The team is an integral part of the Urology Department which is reflected in the Freeman hospital being one of the premier urology departments in the country and a leader in clinical research.
